Finding the Right Day Porter for You

We background check (and drug test) everyday porter we hire so that we know they are someone who you can trust. We communicate with you to get a sense of what you expect from a day porter in order to find someone with experience and skills that match. Will they be helping you set up various fixtures? We will partner you with someone who is handy with tools. Will they be helping you set up decorations? Then we will find someone who has an eye for decor and design. We also have maintenance porters who are trained and experienced in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repair.

In our experience, we have learned that communication between you, your day porter, your employees, and Ambassador’s operations manager is important to get the most out of your day porter. In addition to making sure that your day porter is a good fit, we work with you to create a schedule of duties for our day porters that is unique to your needs. Oftentimes a day porter’s schedule of duties fills in the gaps between our other services. We consistently check in to ensure that you and our day porters feel well equipped to handle maintenance challenges. If you or our operations team feels that additional day porters are required, we will work with you to expand your crew.
